Dear my friends.. i'm going to share you about my writing. Yeah actually i've written it as my task at college.
Fun Learning with Teaching Media
There
are many varieties & functions of teaching media in the class. First is
visual media which can only be viewed; also, it does
not contain any sound or audio element. This media has some functions which can grow students’ interest and to
provide connection between the content of subject to the real
world. For examples, graph, diagram,
poster, map, and picture.
Second is audio media which can only be
heard, or media that has only elements of sound; hence, it can
practice all auditory skills development activities. For examples, radio, tape recorder, and language
laboratory.
Third is projection media which
provides the available screen image or subject matter to assist the process of
teaching. As the result, it makes the students easily understand the lessons related to things which are
difficult to reach out in the class, such as the study
of human
organs. For examples, overhead projector (OHP), slide film, and in focus.
The
last media teaching is audio visual media which
uses elements of sound that can be
heard as well as images that can be seen. This media has some functions that can make
students more easily understand the lessons in terms of both audio and visual; furthermore, clarify presentation of the message in order not to verbalize or express many words. For examples: Film, Television, Video (VCD, DVD,
VTR), Computer.
Finally, we know all about the varieties & functions of teaching
media in the class, and hopefully we can use it effectively in teaching
process.
